Located in the Kessler Park area, the site rises substantially from the street to the back yard, offering a view of the surrounding neighborhood. The original front yard was level with a retaining wall running the full width of the lot. The front yard was regraded with a partial retaining wall, terraced planters and a series of steps leading from the driveway to the front porch. The house is an extensive remodel and addition to a small single story home built in the early sixties. The “L” shaped living area on the lower floor wraps around a central winding staircase leading to a large game room on the upper floor.
